Parents
As a child, Louise and Tom taught Erin to dream big, love God, and love others. They encouraged Erin’s creativity and instilled a sense of adventure and enthusiasm for new ideas and new places. They demonstrated the importance of hard work, intellectual curiosity, building meaningful relationships, and seeking God’s will above all else.
But perhaps most importantly, Louise and Tom’s relationship showed Erin what makes a successful and rich marriage. Their love for each other and her, taught Erin to seek out the love of a good and honorable man. She found that love in Scott.
Cara
Matron of Honor
Cara is just over two years older than Erin and growing up, Erin always viewed her big sister as her protector and greatest ally. Cara was always unusually thoughtful for her age; as a preschooler, she would often bring her snack home with her from school so that she could share it with Erin. The two were practically inseparable as kids and spent the majority of their days lost in their make-believe worlds. The two remained close as they grew up and Erin still seeks out Cara’s wise counsel and advice. Erin is very thankful and honored to have such a wonderful sister be her Matron of Honor!
Caroline
Bridesmaid
Caroline and Erin have been good friends since they first met in Daisies (Girl Scouts) when they were about five. They grew up in the same neighborhood and often met at a mailbox halfway between their houses to go for walks or ride bikes or to just escape from everything for awhile. Although the two friends are a bit farther away from each other these days as Caroline lives in Santa Cruz, CA and Erin lives in Bethlehem, PA, they still remain good friends. They call/text often to get advice, talk through problems, share good news, gossip, complain, or just say hello.
Allie
Bridesmaid
Erin and Allie met at Tyler School of Art when Allie was an undergraduate student and Erin was a grad student in the Metals Design program. Allie later interned at Crayola and the two became good friends almost instantly. Allie’s cheery disposition and light-heartedness made work much more fun for Erin! The two share a similar sense of humor and love to laugh together.
Ashley
Junior Bridesmaid
Ashley is Scott’s niece, and like Erin, she is very creative and talented. Ashley is specifically passionate about performing, whether it’s dancing, singing, or acting. When they are able to, Erin and Scott love to attend her performances, and they enjoy spending time together at Gabby and Pop-pop’s house or on family vacations. Erin and Scott are excited to have Ashley be a part of their big day as she accompanies little Elliott down the aisle!
